It speaks volumes for the enthusiasm energy and ability of Mr. Dyamond who is a constable attached to the Richmond Police Station, and eec.re lary of the Richmond City Bra s Band, that he should have in such a comparatively short time achieved such a result. There is now a live committee of parents behind Mr. Dya mond and the band committee, wbc have fostered the Juvenile movemen* and the Richmond Boys' Band is going to be something thie city will be proud of. The receut picture night at the Cinema resulted in an addition of £10 to the funds. Citizens and business people who can realise the work of the movement and who have noi yet contributed are urged to do so. The l.and instruments coet money. Mr. J. J.
