Mr. and Mrs. Fred Rafoth and Mr. and Mrs. Willard Jones visited the state fair Wednesday and Thursday of this week. Thomas Jacobson has sold his prop erty in Hartland village to Hans Stensrud, Jr., and will make a trip to Norway before deciding on another residence although he still holds his farm in this town. Hans Stensrud, Jr. and family moved to their new home in Hartland Tuesday. Mr. Jacob Jacobson went to Albert Lea Thursday night. Messrs. Luther and Olson were, in New Richland last Sunday, the form er called there in regard to the min ister who is to hold service in the Congregational church. Mr. George Hinkley took a carload of cattle from St. Paul to Southern Iowa Thursday and little Raymond went down with him. The M. B. A. lodge are expecting an old fashioned meeting on Sept. 18. Considerable small grain has been marketed here this week with fair prices. Mrs. Bert Jones and son Claude made a pleasant visit at the George Jones home over Sunday.
