Fourteen Cheshire 4-H Club members were honored Tuesday evening at the Berkshire County 4-H Achievement dinner sponsor ed by the Barrington Fair As sociation at Bryant Manor in Great Barrington. Guests at the head table cited for special recognition were Lois Ann Leonard, for junior leader ship, Judy Randall, food preser vation, Paula Phelps, for cloth ing, and Alan Kittler, garden ing. Marion Dragon was award ed a scholarship but was unable to attend. The food judging contest was won by the Cheshire Chefs 4-H Club led by Mrs. Russell Gur ney. Team members were Linda Gurney, Ann and Janet Le Febvre. The judging team from the Sew Happy 4-H Club, led by Mrs. Stanley Wilk, won the cloth ing judging contest. Mary Rowe, Karen Kittler and Mary Ellen Wilk were the team members. Janet Lefebvre was awarded two special trophies, one for out standing clothing exhibitor and one for outstanding overall home economics exhibitor. Mary Ellen Wilk was awarded a special tro phy for outstanding flower exhi bitor, the second year that Miss Wilk has won this award. At the Fair, in the Sunday af ternoon competition, Mary Rowe was high individual scorer and Mary Ellen Wilk was high in dividual scorer in foods. Joseph Gwozdz and Elaine and Lynnce Littlejohn were honored for their capon projects.
