DEATH OF MRS. MIKE BORRONMrs. Mike Bcrron died at a hospital in Marceline Saturday evening about 7 o’clock, where she h ad been taken Friday night. She had been in failing health for the past two years.Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2 oclock at the Advent Church near Goldsberry by Rev. Spurling of Kirksville. Burial was in the Helton cemetery.Martha Mahulda, daughter-of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Ratliff, was born in Macon County northwest of Goldsberry, on October 17, 1869. She was 69 years, 10 months and 21 days old at her death.She was united in marriage to M ke E. Borron on February 17, 1901. One son was born to them, but died in infancy. Mr. and Mrs. Borron later adopted three children, Audra in1907, Jay in 1912, and later a girl, Gladys. These children they loved and provided for as their own.Mrs. Borron had been a member of the Primitive Baptist church inGoldsberry since 1903. Her entire life was spent near Goldsberry and New Boston where she made many friends by her kindly deeds and neighborly acts.Those left to mourn her departure are the widower and a son, Jay, of the home; a son, Audra, Bucklin; a daughter, Gladys Miller of South Gifford; five grandchildren; ,twobrothers, Ira Ratliff of San Diego, Cali.; Hubbard Ratliff of Callao, and many other relatives and friends.
