The Joe Pyne property on 2nd ave-nue has been sold to H. G. Haines, who will improve the place and install modern conveniences before the family moves in. Later Mr. Haines ex-pects to raise the house in order to put in a basement and furnace. This is one of the oldest residence properties in Vinton and was owned and occupied for many years by Mr. and Mrs. John Pyne.
