Few. of th§ old men are back, but they will all be here by the first of next week.* • • * • i # : ’* * * , •• • t,The squad is handicapped this week by the sickness of Trainer Hyland, as his services are more in demand at this time than later. The men are4 «much more likely to get hurt in the first few days of practice, before they are. hard, and unless the bruises and sprains are carefully and promptly treated, they often develop weaknesses later in the season which interfere greatly with their effectiveness. Coach Bailiet will not line the men up for a scrimmage until Hyland is able to look after the rubbing boards. : ' ; !
