F. M. Fields was up to Indianapolis this week.The corn is drying up fast and will soon do to gather.The weather is cooler since we had a small shower, last Friday.U. S. Sedam has the nicest buff cochin chickens in this township.Pat Doleo lost a nice pig last Monday. English sparrows carried it off.George Steel’s little baby has been very sick, but is better at this date.John W. SawyerB was at the city last Saturday, buying goods. John is a hustler.Uncle Dudley Vincent has rather been on the sick list the past .week, but at the present time is better.Rev. C. W. Wood Went to conference at Greencastle, on Tuesday, 12th inst. He may come back to us for another year, as he is a good man and a good preacher.There is going to be a temperance meeting pie-nic above Waverly in C. W.
