With Paul Lawrence Dunbar, the negro poet, Winnifred Black, Ella Wheeler Wilcox, Julian Hawthorne, Polly Pry and the great cartoonist, Homer Davenport, the Denver Post, has drawn literary fire from every pole of the magnet. With such an aggregation there might be some danger of a hot journal, were it not for James Barton Adams Postscripts easing off the strain with his lighter matter. Should Ella Wheeler Wilcox be doing a right passionate burst of song and run against one of Polly Pry’s creamy interviews, that would be a literary collision worthy of Daven-jjort’s best effort.
