Something ought to be done ...First impressions are lasting impressions and even though there have been notable improvements in the picture Towanda presents to travelers on Route (i as they head west over the new Towanda River Bridge, it’s apparent in this picture that further rehabilitation and reconstruction is still to be done. Several buildings on the south end ofMain Street have gotten welcome makeovers, notably the Towanda Municipal Building and the “Bailey Block” buildings and it is to be hoped that more improvements in that end of town are to come.
