ARE HOME FROM CALIFORNIA -I August N. Cron, wife and daughter, Miss Leila, who have been spending several weeks touring all parts of California, returned home this week, highly pleased with their trip, which was enjoyed from start to finish. Most of the time was spent with their uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Aggen, and family at Soinis, California, who formerly lived i n Lincoln township in this county, ! moving to their present home more than thirty years ago, where Mr. Aggen owns several hundred acres of land, purchased at $55.00 per acre, which is now worth $2,000.00 per acre. Mr. Aggen lives in that part of California which is especially adapted to the production of Hma beans, and is getting ready to harvest a crop of more than 200 acres, which promises an exceptionally good yield, and the price is always goofl, and can be depended upon, from one year to another. The Cron family visited in all the principal cities of the west coast, meeting many of the Anita colony in California, and journeyed over into Mexico, where everything is generally on the move at ail times. Their visit was somewhat marred by an auto accident, in which Mrs. Aggen sustained a broken shoulder, the result of a collision when another car attempted to pass the one driven by Mr. Aggen, who was accompanied by his wife.
