Drafted Men to Ft. DodgeSaturday of next week, September 22nd, \s the date when forty per cent of Cavalier county’s quota for the military draft leave Langdon for Fort Dodge, Iowa. This second installment of the draft to leave will include forty-eight young men from all over the county who have been called for service. Official notification to have this installment of the draft ready to leave on the 22nd inst. was received by County Auditor Eide, the secretary of the draft examining board, on Monday. Who will be notified to go at that time is not definitely known until more names have been certified back from the district board at Bismarck, which passes on the exemption claims from this county. The arrangement for the going of the drafted men Saturday next week will be similar in detail to those carried out last week when the first five per cent left here. On this occasion, however, the railroad company will furnish a special car for the drafted men.
