Komensky, Texas, September 9. Richard Peaerson of Cheapside, Gonzales county,was visiting friends at Komensky this week. Mr. John Mueller and family of the Hochheim community were guests at the home of Mrs. Gerhard Pieper Sunday. Misses Mary and Jennie Ullmann have returned from a several days’ visit to their brother, Frank U mann, of Scharlottenburg. Frank and Joseph Christen of Moravia were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. E. Breitschopf the other Sunday. Several of our young folks at tended the dance at Moravia Satur day night and report having had a good time. Edmund and Emil Anderle, Jno. Antrich, Ben Hirsch, and Adolph Kaase of Oak Grove were in our burg Sunday. Rud. Heinrich celebrated his birthday Sunday among his friends. Dainty refreshments were served and heartily enjoyed by those pres ent. We wish for Rudolph many happy returns of the day. Mr. Henry Cook and family of Boursville were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. F. Cook Sun day. A most enjoyable party was given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pobler Sunday evening. Mr. Charles Wagner and wife of Oak Grove visited friends here Sun day. Hugo Pohler, Albert Holik and Otto Pohler attended the dance at Kuehn’s Grove Saturday. Miss Mary Wenske visited friends near Oak Grove Sunday. Fritz Pieper and Richard Pohler made a flying trip to Sbiner Sun day. pre STUDENT.
