Boone Merchant Disappears*W. H. Jennings, a shoe dealer of Boone, has mysteriously disappeared. He left his store about 8 o’clock Monday morning* idling the clerks he was going to another part of the city. Instead lie took a train to Des Moines, where he wrote a letter from the Kirkwood Hotel to his wife, saying he was in that city and for her to do the best she could, with the store. He was seen on Walnut street about 2 o’clock Monday afternoon by n Boone acquaintance and since that time he has not been heard from. Mr- Jennings has suffered some business j*ererses in the past few years, and it is feared Ins mind has become unbalanced. He is about C* years old.
