John WellsPITTSBURGH — Former Reynoldsville resident John M. Wells, 84, of One Park Avenue, Punxsutawney, died Friday at Presbyterian Hospital.He was born Aug. 1, 1909, inReynoldsville, a son of Cyrus A. and Viola V. Curry Wells. He married Willia W. Witherson Wells on June 30, 1951. She preceded him in death.He was retired from a job as a librarian for the prothonotary'soffice of Jefferson County in Brookville.He was an avid piano player and he was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Reynoldsville. He was also a member of the John M. Read Lodge No. 536 of the Free and Accepted Masons of Reynoldsville. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Army.He was the last member of his immediate family. Survivors include a number of nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, four brothers and three sisters.
