Sunday marked the opening meeting for’ Guardian Angel Home card club members when they meet at 8 o'clock in the evening at the home. A prayer and salute to the flag preceded ‘Sewend i Katich annunced that the pound party for the chil dren and Sisters of the home would take place on October 23 and 24. Members of the club will meet on October 6 at B p.m to complete further plans for the event. Pen nies will be donated for the chil d Chairmen for the meeting were Mr. and Mrs. B E. Bridge awards were given to Harry Leddy, Mrs. Blackburn and John Schuster. Canasta prizes went to Mrs. Jos eph Novy and Mrs. George Comer ford. Pinochie ‘prizes went to Mrs. Eugene Siegel, Mrs. Matt Mc. Laughlin, Dr. Edward Dainko, Gor don Birkey, Mrs. Eugene Koehl, Mrs. Richard Brady, Mr. Ervin B. Zehnder and Mrs. George Malik. Refreshments were served from an attractive buffet table spread with a beige cloth and centered with a green pottery tray. The tray held an arrangement of orange and yellow marigolds and lavender and green grapes. Lovely autumn floral pieces were arranged thruout the dining room.
