LARGEST SIGN TAKEN DOWN AFTER 30 YEARSAfter 30 years of service as an outstanding advertising medium and directory, one of Preston's old* ost and largest signs, that of the Mrs. Struve Millinery shop, was taken down Wednesday afternoon. The large sign was constructed and placed on the Struve building 30 years ago at a cost of $60.Mrs. Struvo moved her place of business upstairs a short time ago and Hanna's Sweet Shop and Tanner's Men's Wear have since moved into the downstair building occupied by her The sign was taken down to allow smaller signs of these two_new establishments to be plapecCIn an effort to modernize the building and improve the appearance the beautiful vines that have grown up the sides and over the building for the past 17 years have been removed and the front of the building is being painted.Mrs. Struve came frorm Schleswig Holstein, Germany, 37 years ago.
