Died in the Court Room, F. E. Munn, Esq., received a telegram last evening conveying the sad intelligence that his venerable father, Colonel S$. W. Munn, of Joliet, IL, had dropped dead at 4.40 in the afternoon while trying a cane in the court room at Chicago. Heart disease was the resumable cause, Colonel Munn was a urist and barrister of pronounced ability, and well known to many of the old citizens of Omaha. He was colonel of the Thirty ninth Ilinois infantry throughout the rebel lion, and won exceeding credit for his cour age and valor. Many of his old companions of the Thirty-ninth are now residents of this or among whom was Mr. Walker, of the took yards, Mr. BP. E. Munn leaves for Joliet this morning.
