One of the most sorrowful funerals ever held at II ill town was that of Ethel Evans and child Monday eve. The remains were brought here from Monterey where the two met death by the mothers rash act. Mrs. Evans was born and reared in Wells township and has a host of friends and rel-, atives living here to which this sadness is terrible.
