Librado C. de Baca rccicvcd the news of the death of his uistcr Mrs. Siiviana Bacadc Montoya, wife ol J. M. Montoya at Pena Blanca, last Wednesday. The circumstances attending her death arc very sad, particularly as she leaves a family of ten children, who will be deprived of a mother's care and affection. One week ago last Sunday as the deceased was engaged in cooking clothes ignited Irom the hot stove. With rare presence of mind she ran immediately to the accquia and jumping in extinguished her burning garments with apparently but little injury to herself. The exposure, however, was too great for the lady's constitution. for she received a chill from which fever set in, terminating in her death.
