This was the annual reunion of the family, and aside from the games and other pranks that were enjoyed by all, there was considerable business transacted. Noah Dean was placed in the chair. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows: President, Henry Dean; Vice Presidents, Duncan Dean and Allie Rodgers, and Secretary, J. C. Dean. The following Deans, W. K., J. C., .T. J., Duncan, Alfred and Judson, were appointed a committee to provide for the next reunion. An obituary committee was also appointed.Addresses were made bv Rev. W. W. Moore, of Franklin ; Rev. McCombs and P. Marstcller. Five deaths were reported to have occurred in the family during the last year. The next reunion will be held at the old homestead, the farm of Noah Dean, deceased, now occupied by Judson 1 ean. This meeting will be of the basket picnic variety. The Deans have lived in this countv since 1 si 1 and those now re-siding here are all descendants of the man who moved from the East to this county that year. Mrs. Allie Rodgers, widow of Thomas Rodgers, is the oldest living representative of this branch of the Dean familv.HatsMft’OXAHYN MEET.
