Brott, of New Orleans—the “father” of St. Cloud—we hare received a copy of the New Orleans Tmu containing a full-page map in illustration of the Fori St. Philip Canal scheme, referred to in oar editorial columns. As Mr. Brott is generally interested in snch oanal and other schemes in New Orleans as have any special importance (or ohanoe for speculation) about them, we incline to the opinion that he stands ready to •‘dip into this one.
