Engagement Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Eckel of Harrison, are pleased to announce the engagment of their daughter, Nancy Beth, to Gregory V. Nagele, son of Mr. and Mrs. Aloysius Nagele of Cleves. Miss Eckel is a 1980 graduate of Harrison High School. She is employed with Cardinal Federal Savings and Loan Association at their Western Woods branch. Mr. Nagele is a 1978 graduate of Harrison High School. He is employed with Wood Truss Manufacturing of Miamitown. Hobart Shank Hobart E. Shank, 67, 6909 Imhoff Road, Oxford, Ohio, died Wednesday, September 3, at 4:30 p.m. in Good Samaritan Hospital, Cincinn ati. He was born in New Leba non and attended school there. He married Esther Crowe in 1941 in Covington, Ky., and she died in 1976. Mr. Shank married Virgie Hann in 1978 in Oxford. Mr. Shank had lived in Gordon for 30 years before moving to Oxford in 1978. He was a tool grinder at Delco Products Corp., Dayton, for 37 years, retiring in 1973. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Eaton and Delco Products Employees Club, Dayton. Survivors are the wife, Virgie Shank, Oxford; one daughter, Mrs. Paddy Karen Cannon, Greenville; two sons, Robert Shank, Gordon and Ronald Shank, Houston, Tex.; nine grandchildren; two bro thers, Robert Shank, Tamarac, Fla., and Darrell Shank, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; five step daughters, Mrs. Floyd (Inez) Bolser, Ross, Mrs. Donald (Frances) Shoemaker, Oxford, Mrs. William (Wilma) Frey, Harrison, Mrs. Gerri Wallace, Lawrenceburg, Ind., and Mrs. Dennis (Virgie) . Rutledge, Hamilton; two stepsons, Ben E. Hann, and Jack Hann, both of Jacksonville, Fla.; 23 step grandchildren and six step great-grandchldren. Services were held Sat., Sept. 6, at Marshall-Smith Funeral, Home, Oxford, with burial in Lewisburg. Lillie Hammitt Lillie (nee Myers) Hammitt, age 60 died Sunday, August 31, 1980 at her residence Maple Lead Trailer Court, Harrison, Oh. She was a cook for The Gin Mill. She leaves 3 children; Willis Hammitt, Jr., Mrs. Leona Smith of New Haven, Mrs. Marla Acey at home, and nine grandchildren and five sisters. Her husband Willis Hammitt, Sr. preceded her in death. Services was held at Neid hard Minges Funeral Home, Taylor Creek, burial at New Haven Cemetery. Rev. Larry Kasten was in charge services. Nancy Beth Eckel
