Miller of 115 Madison Ave., Hawley, Pa., is scheduled to depart *hc Naval Air Station, Jacksonville, Fla., as a member of Patrol Squadron 45 Detachment on a routine assignment to Newfoundland.The squadron, which flies the Navy’s newest and most modern anti-submarine warfare aircraft, the P3A “Orion”, will be temporarily based at Argentia, Newfoundland. As part of the Barrier Forces, Atlantic, the detachment will be a representative of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.In addition to flying anti submarine warfare and shipping surveillance flights, the detachment will also participate in the International Ice Patrol.
