Annual Meeting Is Held In Middle Haddam Alvin F. Collins of Cobalt was e lected president of the Union Hill Cemetery Association of Middle Haddam at the annual meeting held recently at the home of Howard A. Selden in Middle Haddam. Other officers elected were: Samuel Stew art, vice-president; Robert J. Schlag, treasurer; Russel S. Dart, secretary; Mr. Selden, agent; and William Evans, sexton. It was voted to increase the num ber of trustees from seven to nine, and the following members, listed in the order of length of service on the board, were elected: Russel Dart, Mr. Collins, Mr. Stewart, Mr. Selden, Cecil H. Taylor, Lewis T. Evans, Mr. Schlag, William Evans, and R. S. Dart. A tool house is badly needed on the cemetery property, to save time and expense of carting tools and equipment, and members are urged to watch for an opportunity to pur chase a small building suitable for this purpose. The problem of constructing a new road to form a loop arrange ment for automobiles, or of widen ing the existing road, was also dis cussed.
