Eugene Baker, employed on the farm of Gns Mathis, of the French aettlemenl,happened to a rather aer-ioui accident on Saturday of laat week. On tbit day Baker was cut ting flax, and while standing in front of the binder making a nec eaaary repair, the horse* scared at something and ran away, with the result the unfortunate man waa knocked down, the large wheel pasting over hia body. The doctor was immediately summoned, when it was found hia injuries were of an internal nature aud were severe. We understand aa soon aa Mr* Baker has recovered sufficiently to stand the trip, he will be taken to Regius hospital for further treat I.
