Rev. J. B. Mahaffey, pastor of Wtst End M. E. Church, who took his departure yesterday for Nashville, Tenn., preacbtd his farewell sermon to a large audience Sunday evening. Rev. R. R. Tucker, cf Nashville has accepted the charge of Mr. Mahaffey in this city, and will hereafter fill the pulpit of theWest End, M. E. Church. Mr. Mahaffey while a student in the Vanderbilt University, will fill the pulpit vacated by Mr. Tucker when Jje came to Georgetown.
