On Thursday the county commis sioners let the contract for the re building of the Shupe bridge over ‘Shawnee creek, to Boggas Wertz, of Veedersburg, for $4,300. The contract was let after the ‘board had made a visit to the place and made a personal inspection of the needs of the place. They very quickly decided that was the right thing to do, and they let the con tract without going back to the court house. The bridge will be cut from 148 feet the original length,
