The Salamanca Republican deserves special credit for its enterprise in issuing an .extra on Sept. 4, from another office —its own having been burned—giving a full account of $200,000 fire which destroyed 28 of, the principal buildings of the place, the office of the Republican being destroyed with the rest* causing a loss of $5,000, and having only 81,000 of insurance. WCtender oar enterprising fellow-craftsraen our sympathy. The fire broke^ out at midnight in the washroom of the Dudley House, from cause not stated. This will be a severe blow to Salamanca, but it is a healthy-growing town and will Recover from te shock. '
