Q. I see the paint is being sandblasted from the Aiken Drug building, exposing the old brick: I think the brick would be very attractive with the addition of shutters. Is there a chance it will be left that way? -- K. S., Aiken.A. Leonard Browder, owner of Aiken Drug and the building said plans are to cover the brick with a texture similar to stucco in a soft rose color. The brick is porous in some spots and needs outer protection, he explained. I think it will be attractive,” he said.
