Jett Sanders, 67, of Liverpool, passed away Thursday, Sept. 2, in a Houston hospital. He was a native of Deport, a Liverpool resident for five years, a member of First Assembly of God Church of Alvin, a member of Danbury Masonic Lodge 1432 AFAM, and was retired from Texaco, Inc. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Chloe Sanders of Liverpool, one daughter, Mrs. Helen Stephens of Alvin, one son, B. J. Sanders of Alvin, six grandchildren, sisters, Mrs. Estella Oaks of Lyford, Mrs. Mickey Garcia, and Mrs. Rythia Reeves of San Francisco, California; brothers, Powell Sanders of Concord, California, Calvin Sanders of Clovis, California and Fred Sanders of Orangevale, California, numerous nieces, and other relatives. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 5 at First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Harold Vincent officiating Interment was in Oak Park Cemetery in Alvin under the direction of Froberg Funeral Home Graveside services were under the auspices of Danbury Lodge 1432. Pallbearers were Walter C. Simpson, Max Wollam, James E. Smith, Bobby G Cozart, H. L. Nolen and S. H Richardson.
