“WHO DOES THE NEGRO REALLY THINK HE IS?” This hour-long panel discussion ex amining the factors which shape the Negro’s self-image, will be presented on WTTW Channel 11 at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15. Comedian Dick Gregory will be among the participants in the discussion. The program will examine the Negro’s view of himself and of his aspirations and obligations to his family and society. In the light of the recent Labor depart ment study of the instability of Negro family life, panelists will comment on the psychological, economic, and sociological sour ces of Negro disturbances such as the Los Angeles riots. Moderator of the discussion is Jim Fleming, noted newsman and journalist. The program is being distributed on the Nation al Educational Television net work.
