FAIRBANKS. Six search planes were grounded by weath er Thursday in a so-far fruitless hunt for three persons missing since Saturday. Rainy weather and dense clouds over the area north of Fairbanks prevented continuance of the hunt for Mr. and Mrs. Ron Kruger and Fred Pearson who vanished Saturday on a flight from Fair banks to the Yukon river town of Stevens Village. The trio were on a business and hunting trip and were traveling in a light plane. Kruger, formerly of Grand Rap ids, Mich., was pilot of the plane. The all-out search over the in terior Alaska wilderness was launched Wednesday. One plane went out this morning but was forced to return because of bad weather. Flurries of snow also were reported in the area where the trio are believed to have gone down. Civil Air Patrol headquarters here reported six planes stand ing by to join the search if weath er lets up. The Kryger’s have two small children here, now being cared for by Mrs. Kryger’s mother, Mrs. Millie Merglof. Kryger, 26, is a projectionist for a Fair banks theatre. Pearson, an elec trician at Ladd air force base, was unmarried.
