Bradley, speaker of the Michi gan House of Representatives and chairman of the Legislative Council, left for Lansing Sunday morning, where he will attend a special session of the Legislative Council. Mrs. Charles Carney, accom panied by Mr. and Mrs. Ray Car ney of Iron Mountain and Mr. William Whitens of this city spent the week-end in Green Bay at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Aug ust Whitens. Miss Isobel Scholtz has return ed to her home in this city after a six weeks visit in Iron River at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Zigmund Moleski. Mr. and Mrs. Chris H. Gribble spent the week end in Blaney Park. Visiting with James Gribble. Miss Vernette M. Pantson has resumed her duties with the Mich igan Liquor Control commission at Escanaba after spending a few days with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Albin Nelson and son Billie of Escanaba, were guests at the Raymond Goodreau home on Sunday. Mrs. Elmer Pirlot and son have returned to this city after spend ing the past two weeks in Felch where Mrs. Pirlot visited at the home of her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Wallit spent the week-end in Manistique at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Anderson. Miss Maude Kibbe has returned to this city to resume her duties in the local school after spending the summer months in Missouri. Miss Kathryn Radue has left for La Branch, Mich., where she will teach in the local school there. Miss Viola Bonneau has re turned to her home in this city after spending the past three months in Green Bay, where she was employed, and after visiting with relatives, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Berge of Gladstone spent the week end in this city at the Art Berg home, George Gendron of Chicago, Ill., accompanied by Mr. Roger DuCharm and Mr. Edward Kap ton of that city, also Miss Alice Gendron of International Falls, Minn., and Mrs. Dave Gendron, Miss Marie Gendron and Mr. Nap. Gendron of Iron Mountain, were guests at an Italian spaghetti din ner at the FE. B. Sturm home on Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Rowell spent the week-end in Manistique, visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kas per Gilmette, Mrs. Howard White and son, have returned to their home in Battle Creek, after spending the past two weeks in this city at the Chris H. Gribble home. Master Russell Becker of Mu nising has returned to his home after spending the past week at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Mattson. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Morrean and son, of Menominee, spent Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ar thur Morreau. Mr. Roy Johnson has returned to his home after spending the past ten days in Chicago where he attended the Century of Prog- Veas.
