Those present were Mr. sod Mrs, Levi Stewart, Mr. end Mrs. Milo Shelton end Phoebe Stewart, of Costs-villej Mr. end Mrs. John Shelton sad two sons, of Hadley, Mrs. Bertha Gib-son end children, of Muneie, Mr. and Mrs. Riley Salisbury, Bfr. and Mm. Thomas Stewart, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lester sod family, Mr. sod Mrs. Psul Sanlebnrj snd little son, of Economy, Mr. sod Mrs. Jacob Stewart, Mr. and Mrs. David Sells, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Smith and family,Mr. snd Mrs. Harry Tball* snd little dang liter. Mr. snd Mrs. Mike Conniff, Mr. and Mrs. John Sells snd children, snd the Misses Fern Moore, Nora Tballs snd Mr. Earl Stewart. At the noon honr a fine dinner was served, after which several speeches were made in regard to the ancestors of the Stewart family. Mr. Levi Stewart stated that their an* castors were all good Christian people; that there were ten brothers and sisters in their family, of whom nine were still living, the oldest being seventy-seven, the yonngest fifty-eight years. Mr. Stewart said the mothers molded the characters of their children, and that bis mother saw all of her children happily converted and he expected to meet Ibis mother in the Glory Land. Jacob Stewart said be thanked God for a Christian mother who tangbt him to love his Redeemer in bis yonth and now as his locks are silvery white, be must soon answer the call “up yonder” and for the yonnger generations to always obey father and mother and live for something higher and better than this life, so when the summons comes they would be ready to answer. Mrs. Thomas Stewart recited a very pretty and appropriate poem, after which they saog, “God be with You Till We Meet Again,” and prayer was offered by Levi Stewart when all adjourne 1 to meet the last Thursday in Ang. 1910, near New Castle.
