WHERE ARE ALHORD HEIRS ?John G. Ferres, the president of the Johnstown Bank is in receipt of a card from Marengo, Iowa, whichwas addressed in his care to “Heirsof Lucinda Alvord, Johnstown, N. Y.” The card reads:Kind Sir—Archibald Stewart- and wife imi-grated to Iowa in 1851 or 1852. They bought property and started a ferry across the Iowa River. After the death of Archibald Stewart, his widow moved back to New York State. We are anxiou^fto get intocommunication with her or herchildren.
