I #These societies have banded to- 1 Q :ether into an inseparable union of everal hundred co-workers who will H lo their utmost to offer rival amuse- a nents of a higher moral character, to teep the young men and women of c ubuque from fiequenting these ^laces. Their plan is to have a big S‘open house1* at the Y. M. C, A. every Saturday night, and invite every one t o attend. There will be games, imusements, freshin*nts, etc., to uake an enjoyable evening for the visitors.
