Lueretia Pruitt AUee.Lueretia Pruitt Allee was born in Kentucky Sept. 10,1807, deceased Sept. 1, 1898, age 90 years, li months and 29 days. Was married to John Allee, Sept. 15,1831, to this union was born nine children, five sons and four daughters, of which six are still living, W. H., F. M., S. R. Julia Vermilion, Amanda Sandy and Elza Jones. When she was 18 years old she united with the Xew Light church and was baptized t»y Elder John Otman.In her earlier days she devoted mucD of her time to the reading of the Bible. For the past ten years she had lain aside all the cares of life and had consecrated herself to that pure and nobler life which becometh the sgints of the most high God. Among her last words were, I am ready and willing to answer the dear Lord’s summons.
