Resolutions, of Respect.September 6, 1886.At a regular meeting of Spring Creek jLodge of K. of H. No. o40, held Saturday evening, Sept. 4, 1886, the following resolutions were adoj ted :Whereas—On August 24th, in fulfillment of tBe universal law, Bro. Samuel Jobes was taken from our midst to join the multitude that has gone before ; and •Whereas—While bowing in meek submission to the Divine will and shewing the common loss felt by the community at large, Spring Creek Lodge is moved mot e especially to mourn the loss of one of its charter members. Thus the intimate relations held1 i life by him with the members of tlii«Lodge makes it fitting to record our appreciation of him ; therefore,Resolved—That by the loss of Bro. Samuel Jobes this Lodge has lost a valuable member who lias left a vacancy and shadow ' t the I odge that will be felt by all.Resolved—That this Lodge tender its heartfelt sympathy to the family and friends in their bereavement, with the hope that even so great a sorrow may be overruled for their good.Resolved--That the charter of this Lodgebe draped in mourning for thirty days, and j a copy of these resolutions be sent to the jbereaved family. iResolved—That the reporter furnish a ]copy of these resolutions to the Warren and J Carry papers for publication.W. 0.
