By a Ship arrived at Falmouth, from Charles-Tow n in South-Carolina, they write, that the Kings of three con-fiderable Indian Nations, with fome of their chief Warriors, have been lately to wait on tlie Hon. William Bull, Efq; Prefident of the Alfembly. By the Infinuation «f the French, thefe People have entertain’d a mean Opinion of the Englifh; but having been better inform’d, they came on Purpoie to eftablifh a Communication, and make an Alliance with that Province. On their Arrival, they were faluted by the Guns of Broughton’s Battery and Glanvill’s Baftion j they afterwards went on Board the Phoenix Man of War, where they were: handfomelj? entertain’d. At going afhoar, the Phoenix, Rofe and Seaford Men of Warfired eleven Guns each. They then return’d to Askley-Ferry, where they are to receive handfome Prefents.
