Report details incidents of violence, employment and housing discrimination A new study says 71 percent of gay and lesbian Alaskans have experienced discrimination, har assment or violence because of their sexual orientation while living in Alaska. Heterosexuals who are thought to be homosexu als also are victims of discrimi nation in housing, employment, and public accomodations in Alaska. The report released last week by Identity, Inc., of Anchorage, documents 84 incidents of anti gay bias, discrimination, harass ment, or violence.in Alaska from early 1987 through the spring of 1988.
