Pioneer Women's'Caravan' ComingA major celebration involving the entire Jewish community was being planned this week by the Hanna Senasch club of the Pioneer Women to mark the visithere of the Pioneer Women’s“Flying Caravan” late in November.Three top-ranking Israeli women, including a member of the Knesset, Israel’s Parliament, head the “Caravan,” which will tour 67 cities in the U. S. and Canada between Oct. 7 and Nov. 20. Thetour marks the organization’s silver jubilee. The Pioneer Women, which is the women’s labor Zionist organization of America, was formed in 1925.Israeli LeadersThe Israeli delegation will consist of Beba Idelson, national secretary of the Moatzat Hapoalot and member of the Knesset; Rahel Yanait, director of Ein Karem and the motivating force behind the organization of the Pioneer Women in America, and Elisheva Eshkol, first national secretary of the Irgun Imahot Ovdot and longtime leader in the Moatzat Hapoalot. National officers of the Pioneer Women will travel with the Israelis.All three will visit New York, Montreal, Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles and Washington.
