Frank Chiado, of Spring Valley, appeared before County Judge R. L. Russell Tuesday morning and entered a plea of guilty to two counts, one of sale and one of possession of liquor. Judge Russell took the case under advisement until September 12. Steve Cork, Princeton man, ap peared before the judge Tuesday af ternoon and entered a plea of guilty to two counts of sale and possession of wine. Judge Russell took the case under advisement until September 30. A jury is to come into the county court this week. It is probable they may have work to do in the De Pue still case. Joe Bender, Peter Aremetto and Jose Angelo are the defendants in the case. Bender is owner of the house where the still was located. The sheriff’s force found the still dur ing a raid in White City two months ago. Efforts to have the defendants enter pleas of guilty have so far proved fruitless and the state’s attor ney will probably demand they go to trial before the jury.
