()xnard Ventura County, California, Friday, Septemler H, 1911.!5I.PLAMSON AEROPLANE COMPANYCharles H. Larnson returned Tuesday evening from Los Angeles, where he has been Bpending several days on business In connection with the Lam-son Aeroplane Company. This company is now having assembled in Los Angeles the parts for an unusually large monoplane. They desire if possible to have the monoplane constructed in time to participate in the proposed transcontinental flight. This monoplane will have an outline similar to the French Antionetti flown by Herbert I^atham in a recent aviationmeet in Ixs Angeles. While the outline will be similar to the French machine there will be new and characteristic features of the Lamson monoplane.B. H. Green, formerly manager and mechanical engineer for the Lamsons, died about a week ago. Fortunately the plans had been completed and all materials ordered previous to the death of Mr. Green. Mr. Green was recognized as a very able engineer and Mr. Lamson speaks very highly of the deceased.PROCONSTRUCTING LARGE MONOPLANEGraduaeThe nlives ofa fine slt;emnizedof Mr. aof the bi of Highl
