Died—On the morning of September 2d, at his residence in Elk Creek town-ship—six miles east and one mile south of Wayne, Mr. Uriah W. Griswold, in the Oltji year of his age. * \Mr. Griswold leaves a wife and two children to mourn his toss. We are informed that he came to this country about five years ago, and since he has been here his walk in life has been such as to command the respect of all. A large number of his fellow citizens and neighbors attended his funeral Saturday, Sept. 2d. We are informed that he was a Christian. This being true the sad hearts of the grief stricken family can rejoice in the thought that the day will come when they will attend the great reunion of the Saints, and strike glad hands with husband and father. Funeral services by Rev. F. M. Madden. *
