Death of a Malpractitioner’s Victim, Mrs. Sarah Lemley, of 2159 Franklin street, upon whom Mrs. Elizabeth Rodgers, of 213 North Twelfth street, is alleged to have performed a crimi nal operation on August 22, died on Wednesday evening at her home. Mrs. Rodgers is said to have received a fee of $20 and to have confessed to Mrs. Lewley’s sister that she had pursued her villainous calling for twenty-five years. An autopsy was made yesterday and an inquest will be held today. Mrs. Rodgers has already been committed by Magistrate Riley to await the fatal result which was anticipated.
