iroin is louna at xuiacr rros.^fow comes John Cole with two mammoth watermelons for the Indk-Pendknt office. The largest, “Shum-way’s Mammoth,” weighs 3G pounds. The other, a “Peerless,” is almost as large. John brought a lot to market of the same varieties. Some one suggested that he must have poor (?) land to produce such melons. Thanks, John, they were delightful.
