Services Held For Clarence BeaverPEKIN - Funeral services few Clarence E. Beaver, 83, of 327 S, Sixth itreet, were held at 11 am Monday in Noel-Hender-son Funeral Home,Rev. Galen Russell, Jr., pastor of St. Paul United Church of Christ officiated. Burial was in Glendale Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Clarence Silveus was organist.Serving as pallbearers were Arthur Schmick, wilmer Nall, Thomas Cranwill, Lyle Palmer, Tilman Ketcherside andDean pita.Mr. Beaver died at 1:53 am Saturday, Aug, 28, 1976, in Pekin Hospital, where he was admitted as a patient Tuesday, after the auto he was driving was involved in a two-car collision at the corner of Valle Vista boulevard and CourtStreet,Born at Lincoln May 1, 1893, he was a son of Thomas N. andJennie ianson Beaver. His marriage to Anna S. Wetzel occurredat Lincoln May 16, 1911.Mr. Beaver, a retired roofer, had been employed by Pekin Roofing Company. He was a member of the Spring Lake Improvement Association and of the Pekin Sprotsman*s Club. Surving are his wife; two sons, Russell G. C. Beaver of Pekin and J. W. Beaver of Manito; one sister, Mrs. Ernest (Cecil) Tomplins of Lincoln; two grandchildren, and three greatgrandchildren. \ wIB:Two brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
