James J. Cross of Alba Passes AwayFuneral services were held at 10 a.m. today at the Baptist church in Alba for James J. Cross, 65, who died Monday at his home in Alba. The Rev. Bob Greer and the Rev. Charles Moore conducted the last rites and burial was in Coloney cemetery, near Alba.A native of Wood County, Mr. Cross was well known in that section. He was a member of the Baptist church in Alba.Survivors include his wife, two sons, James J. Cross, Jr., and John Paul Cross, both of Houston; a daughter, Mrs. W. D. McKensie of Alba; eight grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Althea Reader of Alba, and other relatives, including Mrs. Coy Lowery and Mrs. Sybil Sheltman, both of Greenville.
