After Mrs. Meritt Martin at the organ played the traditional wedding march, Elaine Marie Culliton and Frank E. Carter exchanged their marriage vows. Rev. Reginald Feuell read the double ring service.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl M. Culliton and Mr. Carter is the son of Dale Carter, all of Saline.Carrying a bouquet of white roses centered with a white orchid, the bride looked lovely in a gown of shimmering white satin. A deep allusion yoke in the bodice was accented with a ruffle of lace. Matching lace edged her finger-tip illusion veil and formed the halo to which the veil was attached.Miss Culliton asked Jeannine Craig to be her maid of honor. She wore a gown of yellow taffeta and carried a sheaf of pink gladiolus. Other attendantswere Mrs. Harry Cline, wearing aqua taffeta and Connie Gross, gowned in pink taffeta. Theycarried gladiolus in matching» “I“TheI pastel shades. All attendants ' wore hats and braeelet-length [mitts to* match their gowns.Orville Finkbeiner was best man. Harry Cline and PaulDavis acted' as ushers. MabelGleason sang “Because Love You Truly,” and Lord's Prayer,” accompanied by Mrs. Martin at the organ.Following the ceremony a reception was served by members of the Esther Circle of the Methodist church. Mrs. D G. Leidheiser cut the wedding cake, and Mrs. Joseph Pence of Ohio j City, Ohio, aunt of the bride, ! and Mrs. James Ingram of De troit poured. Mrs. John Nicholson of South Bend, Indiana, had charge of the guest book. Honeymooning in Florida andj Washington, D. C., the couple expect to be away two weeks after which they will make their residence at 311 North Ann Arbor street. For traveling Mrs. Carter wore a navy suit with: navy and red accessories and an 1 orchid corsage from her bridal bouquet.The bride is a graduate of Saline High School. Her husbandgraduated from Hillsdale, Ind., High School and operates a Texaco station in Saline.Pre-nuptial events were a rehearsal dinner given by Mr. and Mrs. Earl Culliton at theirhome at 6 p. m. Friday evening;and showers given the bride by Mrs. Martin Blair, Mary Ann Bieniek, Connie McCarbary and Jeannine Craig.Out of town guests attending the Carter-Culliton wedding were Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Puckett and Mr. and Mrs. John Nicholson of South Bend, Ind.; Mr. and Mrs. Sam Jones of Jackson; Mr. and Mrs. C. J.
