MISS DOROTHY PINGEL WED j IN CEREMONY SUNDAYA wedding1 dinner for 125 guests ] and a large reception at the Pingel home followed the wedding of Miss . Dorothy Pingel and Donald O'Brien, I which took place Sunday afternoon at ] 3:00 o’clock at St, Paul’s Lutheran church. The Rev. E. Burfeind read : the service.White asters and peach gladioli ’ filled the sanctuary where the young -people exchanged vows before a large ■ group of friends and relatives. Mr. O’Brien is the son of Joe O’Brien of this city, while his bride is.the daugh- ; ter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Pingel, Shawano, route two.For the wedding the bride wore a i white lace gown with a sweetheart ' neckline. The full skirt broke into a long train and her veil, caught with clusters of orange blossoms, fell the ; length of her train. In her arms she carried a bouquet of white lilies.The matron of honor, Mrs. Ke.eth Kast, wore a pink moire taffeta dress which had a tight bodice and full skirt trimmed with dubonnet velvet. She wove a white flower in her hair and carried an arm bouquet of mixedflowers.The bridesmaids, Mrs. Louis O’Biien and Misg Myrtle Katzenmeyer, wore, blue taffeta gowns, th.e flowing lines of the skirts topped with tight 'bodices and short Jackets. They carried mixed bouquets and had white flowers in their hair.• Keeth Kast was best man and Louis O'Brien and Gordon Schmidt, the other attendants. Lohengrin's wedding march was played by Mrs. Edward Justman.A wedding dance was held in theevening honoring the young couple.After a short wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. O’Brien will make their home in this city, where Mr. O'Brien is connected with Lauerman’s. The former Miss Pingel was graduated from - Shawano High school and has been employed in the bookkeeping department at Chaimson’s.Guests attending the wedding from out of town were Mrs. Herman Pingel and family and Mr. and Mrs. William j Pingel of Gresham, Mr. and Mrs. Don Wege and Ronald Pingel of Milwaukee.
